    GREAT VIDEO, this shit WORKS!!! I've been using a very similar system (BODY FOR LIFE, BY Bill Philips) for many years with excellent results - high intensity interval training - short time only 45-50 minutes in gym. Creatine is also beneficial with this training for quick inter-rep recovery.

    HYPERTROPHY / MAX LIMIT WEIGT (Switch to lighter load if you can’t lift max limit weight after first set or 3rd) + REST. Time spent should be 30mins to 45mins max if you’re doing correctly. The more volume + time spent in gym the more time it takes the body to fully recover. And don’t forget to eat properly.

    I’m 62 yrs of age…. 53 yrs in martial arts. I’ve had a school for 40 yrs. I teach Bruce Lees JKD. Great video. Your channel is very cool. I’m totally switching from weights, the gym to bodyweight at home. I’ve been weight training partnered with bodyweight for 50 years. Got fed up with the toxemia of the gym…. The gym is not like the dojo. Way too many toxic people with no real understanding of respect and courtesy. I have to say, your channel is an inspiration and is aiding me in my decision.

    Glad i grew up on a farm and have NEVER once worked indoors, I dont need gyms! In fact most guys from gyms whom try to hang with us are gone within 2 weeks

    Be carefu with archers. I injured my elbow with it, because I did not understand them on the rings correctly. It was a minor thing fixed with 1 week of rest, but heads up. Every movement where you stretch your joint and ligaments to full extension you have to have perfect form and never push to fail at beginning. That's my 2 cents.

    This how my friend taught me to weightlift. No more than 30 minutes. You can pause for 30 secs to a 1 minute at first. Eventually, my friend helped me build my endurance to do back to back exercises for 30 minutes. Weightlift, calisthenics, kettlebells, cardio. Problem, he didn't teach me recovery periods. As female I found myself plateauing, and eventually getting too week. So I started prioritizing meals after workouts, and a nap whenever possible. A light or a complete workout change for week or two. That being said...I need to start doing all of this again.

    You build muscle in jail because your body gets so much rest. It's easy to train twice a day, and get 8 hrs of sleep. You can work out a lot when you don't have to clock in somewhere for 8 hrs, plus 2 hrs of commute for work, then come home and take care of shit around the house, cut the grass, raise the kids, pay the bills. You don't even have to spend the time to go grocery shopping. Free time is the secret.

    Train to failure 5 times but add a extra mini break in between? That comes to 10 sets! That sounds like an increase man. Isn't the normal length to do 3 sets to failure with increased weight for each set?
